Corlette Residence

Set on the waterfront in Corlette, this renovation was about opening the home up, improving the way it functions and making better use of its coastal setting.

The project included extensive internal and external upgrades, with a strong focus on the main living areas, bathrooms and the connection between inside and out. American oak joinery, underfloor heating and carefully placed skylights were used throughout to bring warmth, natural light and a more refined feel to the home.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area was designed to connect directly with the outdoor entertaining space, making the most of the water views and creating a home that works just as well day to day as it does when entertaining.

Interiors by Bone and Blanc bring together a relaxed coastal feel with more considered detailing, while the broader renovation gave the home a much stronger connection to its location.

The finished result is a major waterfront renovation that feels lighter, more functional and much more connected to the way the homeowners actually live.
