The Vintage Residence

Designed as a long-term family home, The Vintage Residence combines a classic Hamptons influence with a practical layout built around the way the homeowners live.

The exterior uses a restrained palette, weatherboard detailing and stonework, while the interior carries that same approach through shaker-profile cabinetry, warm timber flooring and a bright, open kitchen, living and dining area.

The home was also designed with future flexibility in mind. The main bedroom, ensuite and walk-in robe are located downstairs, while the upper level gives visiting family their own space with additional bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchenette.

A lift was incorporated into the design from the beginning, making the home easier to live in over the long term and improving access between levels as the homeowners’ needs change.

The finished result is a home that feels familiar and refined, but above all practical, with the layout and detailing designed to work well for the family now and into the future.
